VAT is seeking a talented Product Manager for its Global Services Business Unit (GSE), responsible for dedicated international markets, assigned (key) customers, and corresponding product families. The role involves driving the product portfolio throughout the product life cycle, from new product introduction to sustainment activities and phase out, ensuring execution aligns with customer requirements and processes.

Tasks

  • Support sales and service organization regarding all technical, commercial, and operational aspects.
  • Develop service product and customer strategies based on market and competitive intelligence.
  • Derive business plans from the growth strategy and direct market introduction plans.
  • Identify customer technical roadmaps and drive corresponding product development (spare parts, repair programs, upgrades, and retrofits).
  • Manage sales and profitability targets for dedicated product families, assigned customers/key accounts, and regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in sciences or engineering, or equivalent education.
  • Additional degree in economics and/or marketing, or successful record of accomplishment in a commercial position.
  • Experience in product management within a high tech international environment, preferably in the vacuum industry or critical component B2B business.
  • Fluent business English skills, written and spoken.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to further build customer trust and loyalty.
  • Ability to provide fact-driven solutions and translate market requirements into growth strategies with related execution plans.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, analytical, and communication skills.
