As MES Technical Lead, you will be responsible for daily tasks in production at Lonza in Visp, Switzerland. You will work closely with the MES team and report to the Team Lead Documentation, who oversees personnel management and development. Regular exchange meetings with other team leaders and stakeholders are part of the role to optimize efficiency.

Tasks

  • Set priorities and allocate resources to meet deadlines
  • Communicate with stakeholders
  • Participate in improvement projects
  • Ensure safety and GMP compliance
  • Recognize, interpret and eliminate deviations
  • Participate in audits and visits
  • Provide frontline MES technical and procedural support, working with manufacturing teams, QA and plant engineers
  • Perform training activities of MES and support others and new joiners
  • Train and coach MES team members
  • Support Team Lead Documentation in conducting performance reviews and actively support further development of team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent scientific degree
  • Experience in MES recipe authoring, preferably in Emerson Syncade
  • Knowledge of DeltaV is preferable
  • Knowledge in the area of sterile Drug Product is an asset
  • Coordination of resources and workflows
  • Past experience as a lead for a technical team is an asset
  • High motivation and dynamic drive; solution-oriented
  • Structured, focused and organized way of working, assertive and motivated, working independently, flexible and resilient
  • High attitude for Safety, Quality, Solution focus and Cooperation
  • Fluency in both English and German (written and oral) would be an advantage
  • Prepared to work flexible working hours
  • Good communication skills and interaction with a variety of interfaces within the organization and on the shopfloor
