As part of our Procurement team, you will actively contribute to digitalization initiatives and gain hands-on experience in contract lifecycle management, ERP systems, and supplier negotiations. This internship offers the opportunity to develop your skills and understanding of strategic procurement in a truly global organization.

Tasks

  • Ensure all contracts are current and accurately reflected in the digital contract tool
  • Upload and organize missing documentation to maintain compliance and traceability
  • Monitor contractual obligations such as annual fees and other conditions
  • Assist in transitioning from shared folder structures to SharePoint for improved collaboration and document control
  • Contribute to task automation initiatives using Excel macros and the ServiceNOW ticketing system
  • Create and maintain contract records in SAP ERP
  • Conduct market benchmarks for materials and services
  • Launch Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
  • Analyze RFQ responses based on price, quality, and lead times
  • Support negotiations of terms and conditions with suppliers
  • Support the design and implementation of new KPIs to provide transparency on department performance and identify improvement areas
  • Analyze existing data, define meaningful KPIs, set targets, and structure a performance framework for data-driven decision-making

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (matriculation required during the entire internship period)
  • First experience in SCM is preferred
  • Strong interest in digital tools and process optimization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with SAP and SharePoint is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Fluent in English; German and French are an asset
