As a Global Segment Manager, you will drive one of Hilti's global Power Segment businesses, including Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Utilities, and Power Equipment Manufacturers. You will be responsible for developing market reach and product offerings to grow the segment globally, working with markets and global teams to ensure strong account engagement and project execution.

Tasks

  • Define overall segment strategy in line with development ambitions.
  • Define technology, markets, and accounts prioritization.
  • Understand customers’ needs to refine and articulate Hilti’s Value Proposition.
  • Help build relevant market reach set-ups in key markets.
  • Develop and steer Hilti’s Power Segment community globally (Global and Regional business developers).
  • Drive and accelerate key accounts developments to grow the segment.
  • Work closely with local and regional market organizations to define and prioritize business opportunities in line with the global strategy.
  • Drive Account Engagement, steer Global / Regional business developers, and ensure proper project execution to grow the segment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial).
  • Further education in Business Administration (MBA) and/or Project Management is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in the Power Industry (Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Utilities, Power Equipment Manufacturers, etc.), ideally in Sales & Marketing, Design & Engineering, Project Management.
  • Strong business acumen and customer orientation.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed to drive your segment, plus international mobility in the long term is needed.
  • Strong team collaboration capability and ability to work within a matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in English is a must; any other language is a plus.
