In this role, you will guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds, working cross-functionally to break down complex problems and drive product development. Our team collaborates with engineers, designers, and marketers to design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information, focusing on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring solutions for our users.

Our teams build advertising products across search, display, shopping, travel, and video, as well as analytics, creating trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads.

Tasks

  • Develop the overall goal and strategy for improving the performance of retail ad campaigns and translate the strategy into clear, compelling initiatives and an actionable roadmap.
  • Secure buy-in and approvals from the broader Ads and Partner organizations.
  • Ensure all technology and components of the product are of the highest quality and delivered on-time to accelerate learnings and impact.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of advertiser needs and metrics, and rapidly, creatively problem-solve and adjust product based on learnings.
  • Collaborate with the broader Ads and Commerce teams to ensure a holistic, cohesive experience for advertisers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • Experience within Search Engine Marketing and Search Advertising.
  • Experience building advertiser-facing products and understanding what drives better ads performance.
  • Experience working with sales partners to test and launch advertiser initiatives.
  • Ability to create and generate executive and cross-functional buy-in on a compelling product strategy and roadmap.
  • Ability to work closely with engineering partners.
  • Ability to define, interpret, and derive next steps from metrics, iterate, and execute rapidly within fast-paced environments.
