As a Financial Business Partner, you will be part of the Business Controlling Team, playing a crucial role in understanding and steering Product Development’s business goals, objectives, and models. Your expertise will help link business-critical information to extensive analysis, providing decision-making insights and outlining possible outcomes aligned with the company’s goals.
Tasks
- Monitor, analyse, and report on the monthly performance of the business area, strategic initiatives, and projects.
- Drive periodic project forecasting, coordinate gap analysis, and manage the gap-closing process.
- Host performance measuring meetings such as performance and business case reviews.
- Coordinate target setting and budgeting at different hierarchy levels of divisions.
- Review and approve commercial contracts related to the area of responsibility.
- Prepare and implement material for monthly book closing, including accruals and completion degree of projects.
Requirements
- Controlling background (e.g., Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Economist).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, such as controlling, preferably within the financial industry or IT industry.
- Good know-how in enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP, Power BI, and similar tools.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Experience in software development projects (as project controller or project manager is an advantage).
- High degree of confidence and flair for digital products.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment, and meet overall objectives.
- High degree of initiative and dependability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Fluent in English; German is nice to have.
